Open track
What is open track?
Open track is not a race. You ride on the track for a few minutes while other riders come and go, like a warm-up at a real velodrome. Nobody wins, and there are no places.
As at a real velodrome, riders who ride easy stay above the blue line, and faster riders pass below them. When you ride easier than tempo, or a faster rider comes up behind you, the game takes you up above the blue line. Ride at tempo again, and you can ride lower down.
You choose how long it lasts: 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes. When the time is up, you see how far you rode and your power.
You start down on the flat part below the track. Pedal, and once you are fast enough and nobody is coming from behind, you ride up onto the track.
Stop pedalling for a couple of seconds and you ride down off the track. Pedal again to ride back on. On the couch, press Harder to start pedalling.
Open track doesn’t count as a race. It isn’t in your race history, and it doesn’t count for your category. For now, you can ride it on one device only, not online.
You can race the open track at every velodrome in Watt Fighters: see the 20 velodromes.
